LIGHT TO THE NATIONS
Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world (Philippians 2:14-15).
There's so much poverty in the world that's not supposed to be there. Poverty is not from God; it's man-made. The poverty and wickedness in the world are because of the selfishness of man, and that's because Satan introduced that selfishness into man's heart. He's responsible for the darkness in our world.
But thanks be unto God! The Bible says even though darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people, we're to arise and shine (Isaiah 60:2-3). God sent us (the Church of Jesus Christ) as a light to the nations. And in these last days, we'll shine with maximum intensity.
This is the time for us, as God's people, to use what God has given us and take our place as the light of the world. The Bible says "...the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty" (Psalm 74:20). But when we take our place, there's no force, adversary or adversity on earth that can withstand us.
So, arise and shine. Impact your world. You're the hope and solution that the world needs. The Lord has sent you to bring glory, excellence and meaning to the lives of those around you. You're His hands of love, mercy, and compassion to your world. Hallelujah!
CONFESSION: I'm the hope and solution that the world needs, for the Lord has sent me as a light to bring glory, excellence and meaning to the lives of those around me. I'm God's hands of love, mercy and compassion to the world. Praise God!
