OUR NEEDS HAVE ALREADY BEEN MET

He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things (Romans 8:32 AMPC).

Did you know that as a Christian, it’s pointless for you to keep praying for your needs? The privilege and blessing of prayer in the New Testament is that it gives us the opportunity to establish the will of the Father in the earth, not to pray for our needs; our needs have already been met.

Whatever you desire or would ever desire in this world has already been provided for. What you need to learn is how to use the Word of God to appropriate for yourself whatever you require because ALL things are yours: “Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21). That’s a present-hour reality; it’s not a promise. All things are yours now!

Furthermore, Ephesians 1:3 says, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.” Notice that it says you’re already blessed with ALL spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ; it includes material blessings too because the spiritual gave birth to the physical. The lesser is included in the greater.

The foregoing verses were from the Apostle Paul. What was Peter’s mindset on the same subject? Read 2 Peter 1:3 and see the consistency of truth. It says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness….” Think about it; that covers everything! Can you see why your life should be one of unending praise and thanksgiving to the Lord?

Someone might say, “Well, these are beautiful scriptures, but I don't experience life that way.” That's because you have chosen to look at life from your experience instead of getting your experience to conform to the Word. That's why you need to learn God's Word, understand it and put it to work, and its blessings will manifest in your life. Hallelujah!

PRAYER: Dear Father, thank you for the provisions of the Gospel; I’m confident in all that you’ve done, and I take my place of dominion, reigning and ruling with you, for I know you’ve made all things mine. I’m what you say I am; I have all you say I have; and I can do all things in the Name of the Lord Jesus. I’m rich in all things because I’m a joint-heir with Christ. Praise God!
